In an effort to "Paint a Better Tomorrow" for disadvantaged folks throughout the Portland area, the Home Builders Foundation brings hundreds of volunteers together on one Saturday in September to paint and complete minor repairs within facilities owned by shelter providing non-profits serving Clackamas, Columbia, Multnomah, Washington, and Yamhill counties.
Team captains are recruited and matched with selected projects. It is their responsibility to organize 8-20 volunteers and oversee the project. Paint and painting supplies are generously provided by our paint sponsors. Other project specific materials are secured by the team captain.
