Need Help With Failed Banks?

The FDIC has developed a department specifically designed to assist customers with loans at failed banks - this department is called the Office of Ombudsman. They have expanded their roll to address issues w/borrowers of the banks who have failed.

The following information is available on the FDIC website

* Ways to determine if your account is fully insured by the FDIC
* A borrower's guide to an FDIC Insured bank failure
* Equity investors and contract services providers
* Historical statistics on banking
* Ways to obtain a lien release
* Ways to search for unclaimed insured deposits
